Nina Day once again had the opportunity to work with Cole Haan to bring together a remarkable, unforgettable cast for their holiday campaign ‘Talented & Gifted,’ photographed by Jake Chessum.
The campaign features Broadway dancer Gregory Haney, accomplished choreographer Celia Rowlson-Hall, the brilliant and beautiful founder and editor-in-chief of Rookie Tavi Gevinson, coffee entrepreneur César Vega, wunderkind metal band Unlocking the Truth, actress and playwright Danai Gurira, and founder of famed food truck Korilla BBQ Edward Song.
We are thrilled to have been able to bring these extraordinary individuals together and showcase those who are truly Talented and Gifted.

I was honored when Cole Haan asked me to cast their Born in 1928 Campaign. It’s not often that a client is so brave to step outside the box and truly celebrate the unique beauty that comes with age—and not just with one token model. They wanted to feature a group of people in their 80’s for an entire campaign!
This came at a time when I have been thinking about what it means to age when working as a Casting Director, watching my perspective change on who I find inspiring in media as I grow older. In WWD
Erin Riley, VP of Marketing at Cole Haan states, “They are all vibrant examples of how timelessness and true style are born out of confidence — and that never expires” —
and I couldn’t agree more.
We are proud to have brought these cultural luminaries together for COLE HAAN, BORN IN 1928.

When introduced to Nat Wolff in 2010, we cast him right away in the short film Special Things to Do. He lit up our film and we couldn’t wait to see what he would do next.
Nat is currently starring in Admission with Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, with a string of exciting films coming out soon, including Palo Alto and The Last Keepers.
