P.S. from Aéropostale: Meet Nathan
Nathan began studying the cello at age 4. Starting so young meant that by the age of 10, he had performed at Carnegie Hall. By 11, he composed a symphony entitled ‘Crisis in Japan’ dedicated to the victims of the tsunami. And by 12, he had performed with the St. Petersburg Russian State Symphony Orchestra, become principal cellist in the Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and soloed with the Vienna Residence Orchestra. And that is just a small handful of his achievements.
Nathan’s love of music drives him to practice every day, perfecting both his skill at playing, as well as his ability to create his own works. He is inspired by nature, a theme that comes through in many of his original compositions.
We’re not waiting to see him come to Carnegie Hall, we’re waiting for him to come back.

P.S. from Aéropostale: Meet Lucy
Lovers of the classics, Lucy and older sister Emily started a vintage fashion blog in June of 2012. Since then, their readership has grown to over 35,000 followers.
Lucy has developed her own taste, knowledge, and appreciation for fashion, art, literature, film, and music. She creates and writes her own articles for the blog, delving into her favorite subjects and sharing them with her vast audience. Also a dancer, Lucy has a great interest in costume design, which influences many of the pieces she develops for the blog. With subjects spanning from the history of Edith Head to her new found love of paddle boarding to a detailed rundown of the best vintage shopping in Hollywood, Lucy is not only an interesting blogger, but a fascinating young lady.

P.S. from Aéropostale: Meet Callie
Callie has been dubbed “The Tween to Watch” and it’s no surprise why. Though she has been successful in a multitude of creative pursuits, it’s her interest in music that we found epic.
Callie, together with her older sister Cassidy started a DJ group in 2012, grabbing the attention of the pop world. The pair have performed all over New York City at high profile events, and have opened for artists including Austin Mahone, Ed Sheeran, Emblem3 and more.
Callie finds inspiration in New York City street style, which helps feed into the eclectic and diverse music of the “teen-dream sister act DJ duo.” Currently, Callie is working on producing her own concert series.

P.S. from Aéropostale Epic Kids: Meet Jahking
When we first began our search for epic kids, one of the first talents we met was young rapper Jahking. If we weren’t already charmed by his personality and incredible presence, the off the cuff rap he performed for us sealed the deal.
A quick and clever thinker, Jahking is an impressive lyricist who has performed at SMASH Fest and Taste of Soul, to name just a few events. Jahking told us that there is no better feeling than getting to perform his own, original music.
Currently, he has been spending most of his time in the studio recording his debut album. We cannot wait for the drop date!

P.S. from Aéropostale Epic Kids: Meet Robbie
Robbie is a nationally ranked surfer with an array of sponsors, including O’Neill as well as his local surf shop. He was ranked in the top 3 in his age group by NSSA (National Scholastic Surfing Association) and has a multitude of championships and remarkable accomplishments to his name.
Part of what makes Robbie so epic is his incredible surf coach, with whom he is consistently training, giving him the skill and edge to become a pro-surfer (once he finishes school!). Robbie and his coach have traveled to California, Puerto Rico, as well as up and down the coast of their home state of Florida to catch the perfect wave.
Robbie has spent this winter training in Puerto Rico, and we can’t wait to see his 2014 rankings!

We so enjoyed having the opportunity to get to know and work with this exceptional young woman and look forward to seeing her grow and succeed.
